Dear SDLSA Members,

It is truly an honor and privilege to serve as your President for the 2026–2027 term. I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I look forward to serving this incredible organization and each of you throughout the coming year.

When I joined SDLSA five years ago, I never imagined the impact it would have on my life and career. Through this association, I have developed lasting friendships and had the privilege of working alongside some of the most professional, intelligent, and inspiring women in the legal community. Every member brings a unique perspective and a shared understanding of the dedication, integrity, and commitment our profession demands, as well as the importance of serving one another.

As your President, my goal is to re-energize our association by introducing fresh ideas, growing our membership, and creating meaningful opportunities for engagement. I am especially passionate about encouraging the next generation of legal professionals to become involved in organizations like SDLSA. Continuing legal education, professional development, mentorship, and networking are invaluable investments in a successful career, and I want our association to remain a place where those opportunities flourish.

I also recognize the remarkable legacy built by the leaders who came before us. My promise to you is that I will do everything within my ability to honor that legacy while helping to build a strong foundation for the future. Together, we can ensure that SDLSA continues to thrive and remains a welcoming, relevant, and supportive organization for generations of legal professionals to come.
